I am a 2001 graduate of Penn State University and a 2005 graduate of University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. 

I wrote Pregnancy and Postpartum Considerations for the Veterinary Team, which was published by CRC Press in November 2023, to be the resource I wish I had while navigating my pregnancies and working as a veterinarian.

I am also a Certified RETAIN Parental Leave Coach.

I have spoken both in person and virtually to a variety of audiences on ways to navigate pregnancy while working and the transition to working parenthood.

I also offer coaching and consulting services to support both individual working parents and the workplaces that employ them.

Apart from my work, I am a mom of four kids and one dog, and I enjoy spending time with my husband and kids, I love horseback riding,  and I’m obsessed with all things llama and alpaca.

I’m learning to embrace the chaos of having a big family, and I find peace in overthrowing the patriarchy and eating chocolate.
